SOZO
Holistic Nutrition
Hi, I’m Haley Castellano, founder of SOZO Holistic Nutrition. My Greek roots instilled in me a deep love for food, health, and the power of nourishment from a young age. I always joked that I went to school just to tell people to follow the Mediterranean diet—and while it's more complex than that, there’s a lot of truth to it.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Nutrition and a master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition (MSCN). I am a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS)—the highest credential for personalized nutrition in the United States. With over eight years of experience in the nutrition field, I am deeply committed to restoring optimal health to the Massachusetts community.
My passion for functional nutrition came from my own health journey—years spent in the Western medical system searching for answers. I felt overdiagnosed and under-cared for, given labels without real solutions. Too often, we’re told, “You have ___”, followed by a prescription, rather than support to understand “Why do I have this? How can I heal from this? How can my family prevent this?” Functional nutrition shifts that conversation. It’s about understanding the root causes of imbalance, using food as medicine, and restoring the body’s ability to heal.
The name SOZO comes from the Greek word σῴζω, meaning to heal, restore, and make whole. This philosophy is at the heart of everything we do—addressing health at its root, not just managing symptoms. At SOZO, we bridge science and tradition to create personalized, sustainable wellness solutions that empower you to take control of your health with knowledge, not just prescriptions.
True healing starts from within—when we give the body what it truly needs.
